Food was amazing! Loved all the dishes we had! Really pretty decor! It was busy so really noisy inside but tolerable.
Great Italian restaurant. Really enjoyed the Tour of Italy. I love the tour of Italy at Olive Garden, but this was much better, in my opinion. The chicken parm was very tender and juicy, while the lasagna tasted more authentic. My wife really enjoyed her seafood fettuccine.
The food is incredible. The staff is all amazing!! We go as often as we can manage. It’s my husbands all time favorite restaurant
This little town is adorable. We walk in with no reservations. The restaurant was busy and the atmosphere was pleasant. Our service was perfect. You have to try the Arancini appetizer. The seafood fettuccine was delicious however the scallops are small and I had to search for the lobster. 2/3/2024 A second visit....Fantastic. Great food and wonderful service. I had the special Tuscan Chicken. Their Calamari was perfect.
This beautiful tucked away restaurant will not only give you the amazing taste of a huge Italian restaurant but also has that nice small town feel. The owners did an amazing job with the decor inside. Their staff treated everyone like family and will talk and get to know you instead of the awkward I’m just here to get you food type of vibe. They will tell you about the food and give you suggestions if you tell them what you like. Definitely will revisit here.
why I did not hear about this place before. I lived in Rockford for years and moved to Chicago few years ago and I have tried almost every pizza place in the Rockford area. This is by far the best thin crust pizza I had anywhere in the Rockford. The crust is perfect, the cheese, sauce and mushrooms are wonderful. I will definitely be coming back and I highly recommend it. Thank you
While I’m town for my little sisters homecoming, we stopped by here to get dinner as it’s always been a family favorite growing up and it still is! Service: the hostesses and servers were fantastic the entire time! They were very accommodating for a larger group along with the pickiness of some of my siblings! Food: the food was amazing as always! Their house salad is probably my favorite thing here, as it’s perfectly dressed through and through! Not only that, but the mushroom raviolis were fantastic and tasted so so fresh. Everyone at the table was swooned by their food and enjoyed every last bit of it! If you’re in the Rockford/Belvidere area, I highly recommend stopping in and checking this little family owned place out!
Wow! Had the Paccheri Arrabbiata and it was a 5-run home run! What a great atmosphere to share a meal with a friend. Staff is superb. You can feel the care and love the Salamone team puts into each dish and guest experience. Grazie a tutti!
